The Swords of Iron War, prolonged evacuations, and disruptions in the education system have created significant academic challenges among students in Israel. Many students in affected communities have had limited or almost no access to structured learning and have relied on inconsistent remote education. These challenges are particularly severe among disadvantaged populations, who have limited resources to support their children’s education. Without intervention, the widening learning gaps risk perpetuating cycles of vulnerability across generations.

Recognizing the urgent need, Youth Futures is working to expand the number of its learning centers across the country and provide high-quality academic support through education students and professionals. By strengthening core subjects—Hebrew, mathematics, and English—the centers will enable children to close learning gaps and successfully progress along their educational path.
