Giving Back to the Community

As part of the empowerment process and skill development for program participants, Youth Futures promotes mutual responsibility, tolerance, sustainability, and social solidarity. Mentors lead a wide range of volunteer activities involving children, benefiting groups and individuals across the country. Youth Futures children volunteer on behalf of disadvantaged populations, older adults, people with cognitive impairments, individuals with special needs, as well as for environmental protection and animal welfare.

We believe that fostering social sensitivity and emphasizing the importance of giving empowers program participants, strengthens their personal resilience, and instills values that will accompany them into adulthood. In addition to year-round community activities, Youth Futures holds a nationwide annual Volunteer Day each year in the month of Kislev.
